The Division of Paediatric Surgery & Paediatric Urology is a quaternary referral centre providing comprehensive paediatric surgical and urological service for infants and children from the New Territories East, New Territories West, and Kowloon West clusters, with a primary drainage population of over 4.5 million. On-site paediatric surgical and urological services are provided to the Prince of Wales Hospital, Alice Ho Mui Ling Nethersole Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital and Tuen Mun Hospital. The Division is renowned for its achievements in paediatric minimally invasive surgery, paediatric reconstructive urological surgery, childhood incontinence care and paediatric oncological surgery. The Division is under the leadership of Dr. KH Lee with a medical team of over 10 members. Currently the Division is one of the three accredited training centre of paediatric surgery in Hong Kong.
The research interests of the Division are diverse and multidirectional. Some of the research projects are collaborative with other departments of the university.
