Dr Lau Wing Hung graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and obtained Fellowships of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is currently working as Associate Consultant in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong.
Dr Lau has special interests in minimally invasive thoracic surgery (including Single Port VATS), interventional bronchoscopy, thoracic trauma and innovation in thoracic surgery. She is experienced in Image guided Electromagnetic Navigation Bronchoscopy (iENB) and minimally invasive lung resection in the hybrid operating room setting (iVATS).
She has co-authored over 30 indexed articles in international journals (including JCO, EJCTS, JTCVS, ATS, JTO); 20 abstracts, 13 research presentations and 16 posters at international meetings. She is also the winner of the APSR 2016 Annual Meeting Travel Scholarship Prize. Dr Lau is frequently invited to international conferences on thoracic surgery.
