Endoscopic – Brain • Eye • Nose
Date : 4 June 2021
Time : 18:00-20:00 (Hong Kong Time, GMT+8 hours)

Welcome Message by Chairperson

The underneath side of the skull base is a multi-disciplinary territory and an unexplored area for many neurosurgeons. The endoscopic approach is a moonshot to investigate this piece of barren land. The endoscope has unified all efforts to establish one “nation” through the nose, the eyes to the brain. A growing interest has been mounting among neurosurgeons, ophthalmologists, ENT-surgeons globally and locally. The intensive discussions in the Chat room of the interest group with Eye surgeons, ENT surgeons and neurosurgeons stimulated the making of this webinar and a vision of an “Endoscopic-Brain•Eye•Nose” team.

I wish this webinar would serve as a platform to unite enthusiastic neurosurgeons, ENT surgeons and Ophthalmologists to form one team under one flag of endoscopic skull base surgery.

This webinar has 3 short sessions, each of 30 minutes, covering topics about the brain (transsphenoidal surgery), through the eye (transorbital surgery) and through the nose (optic nerve decompression). Experts of the brain, the eyes and the nose will demonstrate their techniques and the how-to in conquering this barren land.

You are welcome to join us and explore this new piece of vast land of the eyes, nose and brain.
